Ana is a bilingual journalist and content creator originally from Michoacán and currently based in Mexico City, with more than four years of experience in the communications field. Her multidisciplinary profile brings together journalistic writing, graphic design, photography, filmmaking, digital content creation, community management, and event hosting.

She has worked with the United Nations Information Centre Mexico and Ladera Sur in Chile, and in 2024 presented proposals at the 7th Hispano-American Forum on Science Journalism. Her writing has been published in Rolling Stone en Español, TecScience, and El Universal through its section Generación Universitaria.

She has been part of the 7th, 8th, and 9th cohorts of the Storytellers Tec program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she earned her B.A. in Communication. ​ Through this platform, she began her path in journalism and covered stories featuring prominent Mexican and international figures from the scientific and artistic fields, including Ana Elena Mallet, Diana Flores, Alondra de la Parra, Katya Echazarreta, Gustavo Cadena Schlam, and Gunnar Aldén. ​

 

Beyond her journalistic work, Ana has participated in projects focused on gender narratives, cultural accessibility, youth participation, and environmental issues. She has produced short films screened through Nuestro Cine MX, an initiative by Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía dedicated to the promotion of national cinema, and has also volunteered at TEDxMorelia.
